José da Silva moved from Praia da Luz in Portugal to the UK in 1995.  Having worked as a decorator in Portugal for many years, he naturally entered the same field once in the UK.  In 1998 José started working with a great company who trained him in the new painting technique of spraying.  At the same time José also worked weekends self-employed under the name of Silva Services, to make ends meet.  Owing to family commitments, José decided to leave employment and start his own fully fledged company, Spraydec, in 2004.  The company has since gone from strength to strength - all it’s business coming from word of mouth.

In September 2009 José moved back to Portugal to be close to his remaining family and to give his three children the same wonderful environment to grow up in that José experienced himself.  Spraydec will continue to provide the same personal service in the UK, as we have many loyal customers who require yearly maintenance, the only difference is that Spraydec will be multi-national!
